Though new Tapo devices continue to be introduced, one device type continues to be missing from from this increasingly popular ecosystem, a home thermostat. Tapo temperature sensors are available and could be provide actionable input to whole home temperature/HVAC management. Currently, I'm happy to recommend Tapo camera, lighting, and electrical control to friends and relatives. I believe adding a thermostat to the Tapo ecosystem would fill a void and accelerate further acceptance of Tapo devices.
