After installing the recent Tether iOS update (version 4.12.143), the Tether app shows an empty client list for my AX55 Pro. I have 3 AX55 units and the client list works correctly on all of them.

I tried logging out of Tether, deleting the app, and reinstalling it. The client list worked briefly but then stopped working again.

The web portal still shows the client list just fine. However it has different device friendly names that conform to the more strict naming requirements in the web portal (alphanumeric, hyphen, underscore).

I have had the AX55 Pro running for around a month without this problem, running the same firmware version. Since the problem just started and app version 4.12.143 was published 5 days ago, I suspect this indicates a bug in the new Tether app.
