Updated firmware. I installed my Tapo P110M plug without issue. I was able to see it and control it in the Tapo app. Then connected it to Alexa without issue. It tested perfectly. However, now the Tapo app shows the plug not connected though Alexa still turns it on and off. Why did this happen? How can Alexa control the light if the app says it's no longer connected?  I want to understand the process. And what do I do to fix it?

A new issue:  Though offline on my phone, I installed Tapo on her phone and did a share. Works great. Too great!!  The plug is now recognized and online on her phone and works perfectly, but my phone no longer has the device at all!!  Before it was offline. Now gone!

Update:  ultimately it just took a re-install on my phone to correct. But I still would like to know what happened and how Alexa would work and the app show the device offline.

@Alan_ Hi Alan,We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please tell us which version of the app you are using? Are all devices associated with your account showing as offline, or is it only the P110M? Is the offline issue still occurring? We hope this helps.

@Alan_  Did you enable VPN on your phone while using the Tapo app? It might affect Tapo app's connection. Additionally, you want to make sure the app is always updated.
