A vehicle event occurred and was recorded, but I never got a notification. 
 

It usually does notify me, but did not on this event.

Hello,

Welcome to TP-Link Community. If you're not receiving Tapo camera notifications, try the following:

1. Ensure Detection and Detection Zones are enabled in Tapo App > Camera Settings > Detection.

 

2. If detection works fine but there are still no notifications, confirm activity notifications are enabled in Tapo App > Camera Settings > Notifications.

 

3. Ensure that Device Notifications are on and Do Not Disturb is off in Notifications settings under the Tapo app Me page (tap Me at the bottom right or the profile picture at the top left): How to configure the Notification feature for the Tapo & Kasa devices on the Tapo app

 

4. Ensure phone notification permissions are enabled and Do Not Disturb is off: What should I do if Tapo/Kasa notifications are delayed or not working?

 

5. Verify your phone’s Wi-Fi or cellular connection is stable.

 

6. Reboot the camera.

 

7. Reinstall the Tapo app.

 

If the issue persists, please confirm whether no notifications are received at all, or if only a specific type of event is missing notifications. Kindly provide these details when contacting the support team so they can follow up and investigate further.
