This behavior may be intended due to wifi connection, from previous searches, but it makes it difficult to use as a baby monitor option. The light flashes even for when briefly reconnecting. I'd ask that it either respect the toggle to turn off the LED (which is labeled as a status toggle, and since any issues are diagnosable through trying to view the feed in the app), or consider flashing the light only if disconnected from wifi for over 1 minute.

Hi,
Just to clarify first — even if the Status LED is turned off, the camera will still turn on the LED when the device goes offline or is reconnecting to Wi‑Fi. This behavior is by design, as the LED is used to indicate connection status.


That said, we completely understand your concern. In scenarios like using the camera as a baby monitor, the flashing light (even for short reconnections) can indeed be disruptive.
Your suggestions are very reasonable, we’ve recorded your feedback and shared it with the relevant team for evaluation as a potential improvement.
