I just bought a bunch of S500D wall dimmers to replace all the wall switches in my new house. I use home assistant, and I'm only interested in using them locally. Not using any cloud features from tapo. 

The dimmer works great and does everything I need, but the indicator light is an annoyance. I like the white light and how it works, but when I disconnect the device from the Internet, the light turns red and stays red regardless if the light is on/off. I wish there was a setting to make the white ring only turn red if it isn't connected to wifi. Having it change color just based on cloud access is very annoying to those that don't use cloud features and I'd really appreciate an option to change the light's behavior
