3 way Dimmer switch?
Does TP-Link have any plans in the near future to release a 3-way dimmer switch? I have the HS200 and HS220. I would love it if the HS220 had the 3Way capability.

@JeffM3245 check prior posts. They announced a 3-way dimmer at CES, not released yet but it's on the way.

I've been following this thread for quite a while. I hate to say it, but the tone at times certainly leaves a little to be desired. We are customers. They don't have to prioritize our feedback. They're working on their timeline, not ours. None of us "must" have these switches. If you can't wait, then move along to another company. I could see if you had bought something that was supposed to do that and the functionality didn't work, but that's not the case here. For those of you who want to stick with the brand you started with, you committed yourself to a brand that didn't have everything you wanted. That's not their fault. They shouldn't be obligated to expedite this because you don't want to wait. I'll admit that I simply moved along to another brand because I didn't want to wait, yet I've continued to get the comment notifications for this post and they're tough to read sometimes.
Be grateful and courteous about this. Not all of you are.

Any idea if these new 3 way dimmers will work with HS210?

No nothing really but honestly since you only need one switch in the 3-way run there wouldn't be a need to test that as you can just swap the units and repurpose existing HS210s to 3-way runs that are not dimmable.

@Jon_Ian No specs have been released as of yet - the Announcement shows an image of two switches - but that does not necessarily mean two switches wil be required or whether that is just a 2-pack.
But your question specifically asks if they will work WITH an HS210 - Well there would certianly be no need for that since you only need ONE HS210 anyway so at the very least you would be removing it and replacing with the new switch (whether it be just the one or requires two, one at both line and load end remains to be seen)
So as Carl suggests, regardless you would relocate your HS210 to another circuit.

Thanks for your responses. To Bethel's point, I did see the KS230 kit and figured it was meant to replace both switches in an older, un-smart 3 way. Not sure why else it would come in a pair, but what do I know.
I currently have a few 3 ways. I put HS210 on each and kept my existing unsmart Lutron Skylark 3 way dimmer on each. I have to control the dimmer manually, but at least I can turn things on/off with my phone. Now with KS230, I was hoping to replace my unsmart dimmers, and leave the HS210s where they're at.
If I understand both of you correctly, you're suggesting I only use a single Kasa switch in my 3 ways?

Hi Jon
We provided the HS210 as a kit orginally so that the switches would look the same. For instance if the switches you are replacing are Toggle instead of Deocra, but in reality only one of the switches are actually connected to the wireless. You can use the two switches in seperate 3-way runs. We even now sell the HS210 in a 1-pack. I haven't seen packaging for the HS230 yet but I assume if it works as the HS210 that we will also see a 1-pack of the item too.
