this camera has the worst microphone of any camera I've owned any wind totally destroys the sound anything loud just comes through as total distortion. Isn't there anything that can be done to fix this

It would be a matter of repositionng the camera in a way where the wind has a less of a chance reaching it. There are covers that can possibly be used over the mic can can be researched. There are a varity of solutions as any outdoor camera is affected by wind.

@Tony I have Arlo cameras they are not affected by the wind like this. And whenever there was something loud it just comes through as distortion . The gain on the microphone seems to be too high and way too sensitive

@Tony it most certainly would help with the sound problem that's kind of what I've been getting at

Have used this camera a week now and my mic audio has the same problems with wind and any loud sounds. A user variable gain setting for the mic would be most helpful, but not like the three options in the Sound Sensitivity section under Privacy and Sensitivity. A Mic Sensitivity adjustment that would work like the Motion Sensitivity would be great!
