Does having the Kasa Spot Pan and Tilt camera on use data on my phone?

Yes and No. The Kasa Camera is connected to your home's Wifi. When you access the camera through the Kasa App on your phone its just like accessing any app. It will only consume your data when you access the app from the phone's LTE network. If you are on Wifi at home or away it will not consume data.
