Did I blow my HS220?

Had the dimmer switch wired to a plug that I had a lamp plugged into.
switched worked fine (installed about a week ago).Then today I had daddy brain and plugged a vacuum in to the plug... switch now appears to have no power. Tried cycling the fuse box in the house but no luck...
did I kill the switch or can it be recovered somehow?

@Joven You overloaded what the dimmer can handle. The box states a max load of 150 watts LED and 300 watts incandescent. Your vacuum cleaner can range 500 watts to 3,000 watts. Its probably not a good idea to wire your outlet to your dimmer switch. If you do, just make sure not to plug anything in other than a lamp. Maybe just use a normal wall switch and get a tp link smart plug for that outlet. So, you fried your dimmer switch. Don't feel bad because I have made the same mistake before. The good thing is they are on sale at Amazon right now. Take care.

Shouldn't have. The Vaccum shouldn't have sent a surge that would fried the switch, epecially if you had grounded. when you hit the toggle do you see the circle light? what about the dimmer level indicatiors? Are those lit at all?
