So Have the Main and the Satellite worked out....

 

Switch is connected to WiFi.....

Using Sunco BR30 lights...

 

 

Observations:

 

Only 1 of the 6 recessed lights in the room is now turning on.

Noticed that both travelers are "live when the main switch is on" .......

Dimming functionality is not working

Satellite switch is turning off and on but not dimming either.

 

Previous setup

 

The lutron that was in there had two travelers red and black a black from the breaker and ground. 

The satellite switch has ground the two travelers and the load wire was white....

 

It appears that the load wire went back into the box of the first switch and was just connected to a black wire(not confirmed)

 

 

I disconnected all of the switches and installed the two smart switches. 

 

RESULT:

 

the result of which was only 1 of the 6 recessed lightings worked.....

Dimming function on both of the switches is not working.....
