I've bought 4 Tapo C510W cameras for the area around my house. 
After setting up the first one I'm noticing the Person Detection is consistently being triggered by my dogs.

I've lowered the Sensitivity all the way down to 4, where it starts to fail to detect even people. If I lower it more, no detection occurs, but at 4 or above both people and dogs trigger it

It seems like the model for detection is deeply flawed.
