Model: Kasa KS225
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: not sure

Installing this KS225 in the kitchen to control undercabinet lights. The outlet has a plug and the switch which are protected by a GFCI circuit breaker in the basement. I have wired it according to the manual Line, Load, Ground and Neutral. When I go down to the basement to turn the GFCI circuit breaker back on, it trips immediately. I have read online to switch the Line and Load wires on the KS225, tried that and it doesn't work at all. Also read to try to separate the neutrals in the outlet, that doesn't work either. Any ideas?

The white neutral is in fact connected to the neutral bundle.

his pic shows the KS225 with the outlet next to it. Both are protected by the GFCI circuit breaker above.

  @Doug1000

The Breaker is going to the point of failure.  This is similar to why a Powerline adapter cannot be placed on a GFIC.  The breaker detects the data as a fault and trips
