Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 230105 Rel 180832

The H310s work fine in my freezers, and accurately report the temperature as it swings from -10°F to about 4°F. I really needed these to alert me if the temperature rises too high, like to 20°F. But if you set an Alert (Comfort Zone), you can only set the lower limit to -4°F. I have read the explanations of why Tapo only supports to -4°F (-20°C), though the sensor appears to have no problem going to -10°F), but I am getting constant alerts from my H310s as the temperature gets below this limit.

My Feature Request is to allow disabling the Comfort Zone settings for either the upper or lower range. In my case, I would set the upper to 20°F and disable the lower temperature alerts, and the unit would be working great for me.

@rmontrose Forget about the Comfort Zone settings, disable those alerts (Reminder) completely.

  • Create an automation named Freezer Temp High
  • Set the When trigger to Device Status Change > T310 > Temperature over 20°F
  • Set the Then action to Send Me Notifications and customize the message you want for the alert

Yes, it really is that simple.
