Long time Kasa customer now told my android phone will no longer work with Kasa
You guys must really not need customers anymore ... Why else would you go to such great lengths to alienate so many of your loyal customers?
I just received a notification that my Android 11 phone will no longer work with Kasa which I use to manage over a dozen Kasa IoT devices, smart plugs, etc....
My device won't update past Android 11. Unless you plan on forking out the approx $1200.00+ to buy a new Android device then YOU have effectively ALIENATED a customer. I can only assume that I am only one of a multitude of customers so affected by this decision.
Do you guys put a group of chimpanzees and Orangutans in a room, throw in some bananas and a pizza and lock the door over a long weekend to come up with these decisions?
You guys need to consider the impact of this decision. If you don't allow control of existing IoT using existing Android devices like those on v 11 you can take ALL of your junk back and cross me off of any lists where I'm shown as a potential customer.... Because I won't be.
