@relayman thanks for the response. The motor board was damaged somehow, so it didn't connect to the mesh. I ended up changing it to the 87504-267 model. working flawlessly

@Ishbu if you don't mind me asking What model is your garage door opener? Mine is the 8360WLB Garage door opener and my mesh WiFi is XE5300 (sold by Costco) and still haven't been able to connect...
