@Wayne-TP No direct sunlight and no relfective surfaces around the base. I'm currently perfomring an RMA for the mop quitting out on me. So we will see if the replacement unit has any issues or not....

@n1c0LaSS mine has been doing this as well! I have to angle the base forwards at a 5 degree angle (or so) in order to get it to recognize the base. Done all the troubleshooting steps as well. :/
