I'm also interested in the posibility to manually set channel. My operator have different channels and some of them are over loaded. This is possible with Huawei router but i like my MR600 better.

 

Any update on this?

@astph for the MR600, the band selection is under Basic, Internet

Still no sign of this feature on the UK version I am using. Time to ditch the TP link device and get something with this feature already available.
