Tapo C200 unsecured built in wifi

Hi,
I'm a little bit concerned about unsecured Tapo' wifi. Everything is ok when camera is connected to my wifi, but when my router turn off or restart, anyone can see my camera's wifi and pair my camera with other account. Is there any possibility to secure this wifi?

Hello,
Please don't worry that the default open wireless network is only available when the camera is not configured and linked to any wireless, it will be automatically turned off or disabled once it is configured successfully and linked to your router's wireless.

@Kubrak I just installed the C200 and it's broadcasting an unsecured wifi network of the same name as the camera viewable to any device with wifi. Is this a cause for concern? It's certainly configured as we can connect it to easily using the app. Am concerned about the wifi and therefore unplugging it until I understand further.

Hi, the default open network is only for the initial setup and once the camera is configured to connect the host network, the default network would disappear;
