Model: Archer VR2100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 191218 Rel.45551n

Hi,

On the box there it is written that one can configure the device as VDSL router/modem having VSDL as primary internet line and ethernet as backup in case the VDSL line goes down. How do I configure the router for such a scenario. I did not find that in the manual.

Please let me know,

thanks and regards

Steoan

@Argh2004

May I know where can you see that Archer VR2100 supports the primary DSL connection and use the Ethernet connection as backup?

Currently, it only supports 3/4G USB connection backup which is under  Advanced > USB Settings > 3G/4G Settings, and select the box of Enable 3G/4G as a backup solution for Internet access.

Thank you very much.

@Argh2004 if you look it is directly written on the box when you buy it. And I bought it with the thought: cool one can have 2 backups. I am surprised you are asking. It is written directly on the paper box when you buy the router. Shall I make a screenshot for you?
