Low video quality /bitrate C320WS
Hi.
I have 2 cameras (C320WS) and both have the same issue. Even if i choose 4mp video the quality is bad, zoomning in makes it imposseble to see anything.
The bitrate fluctioate between 20kb/s to 299kb/s witch sounds extreamly low for 4mp video.
The wifi signal is good (2 bars -56rssi) and if i place my phone next to the camera i get about 80mbps both directions.
Both app and firmware up to date.

I know you can find the information from some routers although many are 'closed' units - don't want us pesky consumers poking around. It shows on the Synology NAS unit which has a further 4 cameras hooked up via ethernet. At first I thought it may just be the bitrate when the unit was not recording. Checking on the recorded footage using MediaInfo software (freeware) showed this was not the case.

Hi,
I find this camera unusable due to very low bitrate. Picture is always muddy, with lots of artifacts. Codec settings are horrible, with recorded bitrate of most videos under 100kb/s:
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : Main@L5
Format settings : CABAC / 1 Ref Frames
Format settings, CABAC : Yes
Format settings, Reference frames : 1 frame
Format settings, GOP : M=1, N=30
Codec ID : avc1
Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding
Bit rate : 96.7 kb/s
Width : 2 560 pixels
Height : 1 440 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 15.036 FPS
Minimum frame rate : 9.814 FPS
Maximum frame rate : 20.429 FPS
Color space : YUV
Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Progressive
Camera is 5 meters from the router and signal is very good (under -60 RSSI).
Please provide users with encoding options that will make this camera usable.
Best regards,
Goran
