Assign "one" IP/VLAN to port on ER7206
Hello
I have one device that I would like to connect via network cable to ER7206 but when I do that device gets IP address of managed network.
Tried to edit and de-select and use port 5 but I see this message:
Is it possible to assign HOME VLAN IP address range to specific port on ER7206 ?

Hello @ProSumerTester and other community members,
I'd like to update this feature request here.
Omada Software Controller v5.8 and OC200/OC300 Controller v5.9 has added PVID config for Omada Routers.
Please ensure that both your Omada Controller and Router are updated to the firmware adapted to Controller v5.8 or later version.
Note:
For OC200/OC300 controller v5.9, you may need to manually upgrade the firmware via local access as it is a major firmware upgrade.
FYI, the following router firmware has added support for modifying port PVID in Omada Controller.
ER605 V1_1.2.3_Build 20230413 Beta Firmware For Trial (Released on Apr 14th, 2023)
ER605 V2_2.1.1 Official Firmware (Released on Jan 30th, 2023)
ER7206 V1_1.3.0 Official Firmware (Released on Mar 28th, 2023)
ER7212PC V1_1.0.3 Official Firmware (Released on Mar 21st, 2023)
>> Where to configure the PVID?
Go to Devices, highlight your router and navigate to Ports in the right panel, then edit the specific port to configure the PVID.

unfortunately you cannot configure the ports on the ER7206 this way, default lan cannot be changed. the only way to do this is to connect to a switch and configure the ports there.
On the latest update to ER605V2 you can change Pvid on a router port, I think this opportunity also comes on ER7206 once in the future.

Thank you for clarifying this for me.
Hopefully this functionality will come very soon to ER7206 as well.

I upgraded both router and omada hardware controller, then connected network cable to LAN1 on router and configured it to VLAN 10 but IP address is not assigned automatically to this port.
Am I doing something wrong ?

Hello @ProSumerTester
What device is connected to the LAN1 port on the router? Is it an ordinary PC or a vlan capable device like a managed switch?

@Fae
Tried with normal PC as I do not have managed switch nearby.
