Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.2 Build 20240324 Rel.46738

Hi all,

I've recently bought my first Omada hardware when being forced to move to a new ISP. The standard modem is very limited and the new ISP allows for direct connections without using the provided ISP modem/router. The only settings needed are putting Internet VLAN to 300 and dynamic IP. The ISP provides an ONT. the ER7206 is connected to it via LAN2, set as WAN port.

When not being adopted by the OC200, the (standalone) ER7206 get's a direct connection from the ISP.

When the ER7206 is adopted by the OC200 I'm not getting online and I cannot access the OC200 as it's not seen online.

I've tried setting up the ER7206, then adopting it, as well as first adopting it, then setting up the ER7206.

What am I doing wrong? I was hoping to adopt all hardware through the OC200, as I'm planning to expand with additional EAP's later on.

The only way to get access right now is to connect the ISP to the ISP ONT, then connecting the ER7206 to the ISP modem.

The setup is as following:

- ISP, ONT

- [LAN2 as WAN] ER7206. Settings: Dynamic IP and Internet VLAN to 300 | 192.168.1.1

-SG2008P V3.20 (FW: 3.20.1 Build 20240115 Rel.72847) | 192.168.1.3

- OC200 controller (POE) | 192.168.1.2

- EAP673(EU) v1.0 (POE) | 192.168.1.4

Thanks in advance!

Hi  @Steve9004

You should configure the WAN if necessary. If you use the same port as the WAN, it'd be no prob. If you change the WAN port, the MAC address would be different. You should reboot the modem if necessary to let it refresh the stored MAC address.

Think you'd check the WAN settings.
