Yes, I looked into this situation because we need to install more cameras and I will admit hundred percent the warranty company has been very helpful in my situation so I can't fault the company.

I would also say that the adhesive that you supplied is 3M VHB which is very strong. I think the problem here is not everybody will know how to use it properly and the other thing is the instructions need to be a bit more clearer.

When they say recommended surfaces, I would say for example plastic like window UPVC is too smooth so it will not stick to that for a long period of time... I've seen this type of tape hold up much more weight than this camera so I think the issue here is the instruction should be clearer and say only use it on certain types of surfaces.

I would say completely smooth surfaces like tile or glass are the best do not try to put it on UPVC Conservatory or windows... not everybody is going to want to screw into their surfaces otherwise this problem wouldn't happen because screws are permanent...

Literally just stick to glass marble tile or just stick it to metal just don't experiment with other surfaces and I don't think there will be an issue.
