Third-party cameras.

Background:

If you need to use the third-party camera with the VIGI Security Manager or VIGI NVR, please make sure they support ONVIF (Profile S).

Test Steps:

1. Download the ONVIF Device Manager and install it.

2. Launch the software. Input the IP address or model name to search for the camera in the Device List.

3. If the camera requires authentication, please enter the username and password in the blank area next to the option of Log In. Then login.

After the login, you are supposed to view the stream which indicates the device is ONVIF-ready.

(Optional) 4. If your camera is not listed in the Device List, you need to manually add it.

Click the Add button below the Device List.

(Optional) 5. With the pop-up window, modify the IP address and leave the rest of the URL untouched. Click Apply.

If you can see the live view, then it means the model you have supports the ONVIF.
