Add remote tplink tapo camera
I have an NVR1008H at location A, I have cameras from the tapo series at location B. I have forwarded ports 443,554,2020, 8800 all the necessary ports needed that the camera has open. Unfortunately I can't add a camera either by onif or by tplink control. The only option is to add a camera via rtsp but then I have no access to information about motion detection etc .
Does the DVR only accept vigi cameras as remote access or does this option not work at all? Locally at location A I already have tapo and vigi cameras and have motion detection and notifications normally

Hi @Darek1988
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Regarding the Tapo, you may contact the Tapo support. NVR can accept connections from the remote cameras.
The VIGI camera requires certain firmware to be added remotely.

I don't know if we understand so I'll explain it using the vigi camera as an example it will be easier
Location 1 home there NVR1008H recorder with up-to-date software
Location B at work. Completely different lan network different building etc. Let's have a VIGI c300hp camera there. And this location I have public IP(178.xx.xxx.xx) forwarded all ports done dmz on router.
I go back to 1 location house and want to add camera from work on this dvr. I want to make it like I have the camera on my lan network or all motion detection alarms etc. I don't want to add a camera over rtsp because I won't have motion detection etc.
Is this on vigi devices possible to implement?

Up to the device.
You can expose the NVR or the camera.
