Hello,

 

I would like to use the P115 Smart Plug with my router to overcome time to time lost of internet/Wifi

 

The idea is that when the Smart Plug can't reach internet (due to internet issue or Wifi Problem) it does that:

- if 30 min without connectivity

- turn itself off

- wait 2 minutes

- turn itself off

 

and repeat after 30 min if it happens again

 

Is it possible to have a schedule based on connection status?

The smart plug does not have the ability to detect the network status of its connected router and use it in the automation.

I see what you mean.

 

I hate to break it to you but the plug needs wifi to know what to do so unlikely there is a solution.

 

You can however be able to create a shortcut to turn off, wait 2 minutes, and turn it on again so if you know your wifi is struggling just trigger the shortcut?
