AX6000 V2 - Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555) - has it broken your router to?

Dear Community
Have any of you successfully updated your AX6000 V2 with firmware 1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555)?
Do you use the router's Anti-virus (homeshield) ?
Can you still connect to the internet? Connect from Wifi client to local Wired LAN clients? etc?
I'm interested to know how many routers have been broken by the latest firmware release (1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555)
(A temp workaround is to switch all 3 options off on the Anti-Virus tab of the router and reboot)
Drop a reply below if it working or broken
Thanks
Shap

I am facing the same issue, Wireless clients cannot communicate with any Wired ones on my network. I have tired turning off the Antivirus but this makes no difference.

I have done multiple reboots and still the same, sometimes it will manage 2 pings and then times out then additional pings will all time out.

Yeah that is the definitely the same issue. There is a beta release that you can try, just message @Kevin_Z Failing that, are you definitely turning off all three toggles for AV by going to Advance-->HomeCare-->Antivirus and turning of: Malicious Content Filter, Intrusion Prevention System, Infected Device Quarantine, then reboot

Also the exact same issues here. Spent best part of 2 hours working out what was causing the issues with my home network, complicated setup so was a PITA to troubleshoot. Disabling AV options and a reboot solved. Assume that the dev team will be releasing a fix? Suggest that this be done quickly as there will be many many users out there with broken routers and less skills to solve the issue.

I have been affected by the bad firmware update as well. I was trying to find out the cause for a few days and ended up on this thread.
My simptoms were that wireless clients can not connect to wired clients. I tried the recommended fix, disabling all 3 options for the antivirus and rebooted, and it fixed it for me.
I have to say that I didn't expect to get a firware update that would affect my router in such a significant way.

Hi. Yesterday night my router installed firmware and today I have problem with Wifi client can't connect to local Wired LAN clients. I can't see my security system from phone when home, so annoying. Working FW will be very helpful. Thank You
Hello @Deivs_ru @Daric1337 @Gillie_H @Bigtoad @1nu
Thank you very much for reporting a similar issue with the new firmware update on your Archer AX6000 V2.
I will send you the beta firmware via private message. Please install it to check if the internet will be fine.

Hi!
Thank you for your reply and the link to the beta firmware. After updating my router it seems to be working now with the Antivirus settings turned on. After turning on the QoS setting it stopped working at first but now I see it's working again. Maybe that was some caching or anything like that although I did reboot the device after turning on the Antivirus settings and after turning on the QoS setting. It looks like the QoS setting has something to do with the issue in the latest firmware upgrade. If there is any more information you want me to provide to help in your investigation, please let me know. Thank you very much for the support!
