AX6000 V2 - Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555) - has it broken your router to?

Dear Community
Have any of you successfully updated your AX6000 V2 with firmware 1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555)?
Do you use the router's Anti-virus (homeshield) ?
Can you still connect to the internet? Connect from Wifi client to local Wired LAN clients? etc?
I'm interested to know how many routers have been broken by the latest firmware release (1.2.1 Build 20250221 rel.13966 (4555)
(A temp workaround is to switch all 3 options off on the Anti-Virus tab of the router and reboot)
Drop a reply below if it working or broken
Thanks
Shap

Hi!
Thank you for your reply and the link to the beta firmware. After updating my router it seems to be working now with the Antivirus settings turned on. After turning on the QoS setting it stopped working at first but now I see it's working again. Maybe that was some caching or anything like that although I did reboot the device after turning on the Antivirus settings and after turning on the QoS setting. It looks like the QoS setting has something to do with the issue in the latest firmware upgrade. If there is any more information you want me to provide to help in your investigation, please let me know. Thank you very much for the support!
@Gillie_H Thank you so much for your valuable update. I'm more than happy to see that the router is working properly now after updating the beta firmware.
Our development team has identified the cause of the crash in version 1.2.1 and will release a new official version soon to address all reported issues. You're correct—some users may have configured QoS settings before the update using Speed Test results, which could affect internet connectivity.
To resolve this, please manually adjust the bandwidth in QoS settings to meet your needs.

@Kevin_Z thank you for the beta firmware. It worked for me.
I tested a bit differently, I enabled antivirus before upgrading, was not able to connect from wireless to wired, upgraded and then it worked.
I also perceive an improved responsiveness of the connection between clients compared to the previous firmware.

@ShapSMF I have the same problem. Devices connected via WiFI do not see devices connected via Ethernet. It disabled my Hue Sync and IKEA inteligent hub app

@MrGdo I'll also message you the beta firmware. Please check the private message.
If the internet still doesn't work properly, please check if QoS is enabled but without a specific bandwidth configuration. Ensure the bandwidth is set correctly as per your requirements.

@Kevin_Z I have been trying to work out why I couldn’t work from home last Friday. Speed test worked fine but no internet. After losing half a day of work and long drawn out calls with my ISP who had me install their old router, turning QOS off got the internet working. Since then Apple TV Remote and Airplay are not working when it is on Ethernet. Switching to Wi-Fi, Apple Home does not work for many (possibly wired) clients. After spending the last five days constantly resetting, rebooting, unplugging, changing settings, and rewiring the router and Apple TV and everything else in between, I found this thread and turning antivirus off and rebooting got it all to work.
An absolute hopeless nightmare that was extremely unpleasant!! Clearly it was a communication issue between Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It would have saved a lot of wasted time, effort, and misery if TP Link had sent a simple email to registered customers letting them know some might have an issue with internet and WiFi/Ethernet clients not communicating. I’d have assumed a broken release would have meant TP Link immediately roll back to the previous working version instead of leaving users to their own devices to go through the motions of trying to work out the cause is defective firmware not their ISP or something else and then search around the internet till they got lucky and hit this thread.
Will this beta firmware also fix Ethernet to Wi-Fi Apple TV and Apple Home issues? I want to install it but really don’t fancy finding Ethernet and Wi-Fi client connectivity is back to not working again, or some other issue has arisen.
Also, what’s the ETA for a working Firmware bug-fix release?

We sincerely apologize for the issues encountered during the firmware upgrade and understand the inconvenience this has caused. Our development team is currently prioritizing the verification and resolution of the concerns raised. Upon successful completion of testing for the updated firmware, we will release it promptly. To guarantee you receive the new official update timely, we recommend keeping the auto-upgrade feature enabled.
Furthermore, the beta firmware that we have made available in the community has been confirmed by several customers as effectively addressing WLAN and LAN communication issues, as well as certain internet connectivity problems. If you want to use the Antivirus, we encourage you to consider upgrading to the beta version. But if you are hesitant about installing the beta firmware, we suggest temporarily disabling any antivirus software and appropriately configuring (QoS) settings to sustain a stable network connection.
If you want to downgrade to the previous 1.1.3 version, please check the downgrading procedures we provided in the following thread:
