Model: Deco
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.7

Hi,

I have recently bought a TP-Link Deco X3000-5G and I couldnt be happier, it offers me great connevctivity and has solved the problems I was having to try to get fiber to my house.

However, I have run into a recurrent issue which is that everytime I unplug the Deco, and plug it back in, I get a solid red light and the only way around it is to press the reset button for one second, and set it up all over again, meaning I end up creating a new WiFi and then I need to go over all my tv/laptops/ipads to update the wifi settings to connect to the newly created wifi.

Is there a way around this? I get it this everytime and it's verry annoying.

Thank you!

Let me know if you need more information.

  @Ranchalita

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

May I know your SIM carrier?

When Deco X3000-5G was red after the restart, could you please help me save a picture of the Internet settings, such as:

Could you please install the 1.2.1 firmware here to see whether it helps?

Deco X50-5G-1.2.1 Official Now Available for Installation!

(It works for Deco X3000-5G as well)

-If the similar issue is repeated, could you please help me save a copy of the web system log here:

Deco web interface login

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
