X55 Problem with Wifi 2.4
[Help Needed] Deco X55 (1.30) – 2.4 GHz Not Working After Reset – Looking for Firmware File
Hi everyone,
I'm having persistent issues with the 2.4 GHz band on both of my Deco X55 units.
Model: Deco X55(1.30)
Firmware Version: 1.2.10 Build 20241105 Rel. 40010
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Performed a factory reset on both units.
Tested each Deco individually as the main unit.
5 GHz works perfectly.
Tried enabling a 2.4 GHz-only IoT network – not working.
Tried a 2.4 GHz-only Guest network – not working.
Tried configuring the main SSID to 2.4 GHz only – not working.
The 2.4 GHz network is technically created, but:
Devices disconnect immediately,
Or connect with no internet,
Or fail to connect at all.
From the logs:
The 2.4 GHz interface (ath02) is disabled automatically during boot.
Errors show up related to a missing Wi-Fi calibration file (wlfw_cal_00.bin).
The hostapd service fails to start for the 2.4 GHz interface.
I’m looking for the firmware file for this specific model and version so I can reinstall it manually via the web UI and rule out any corruption.
If anyone has access to the .bin file for X55(1.30) firmware version 1.2.10 Build 20241105 Rel. 40010, or a compatible/pre-release version (like 1.6.x), I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!
