Tapo smart plug
Hi all
I'm not at all techno. Not even sure if I've completed the headings above correctly. The previous Tapo page sent me here saying my T100 plugs were sensors or something...
Anyway...
We have 8 Tapo smart plugs, they all dissappeared (along with our 8 Google home mini smart speakers) when we had issues with our Virgin Media broadband. Tech visited, swapped the modem for an updated (V5) model, reinstalled everything. Speakers work OK.
The Tapo smart plugs are another story.
They all appear in the Tapo app.
They even all appear in the Google home app.
They can all can be operated (turned on/off) in either app.
They have all been updated.
But. They will not be voice operated.
"Sorry it looks like those lights haven't been set up yet" even though all 8 plugs are named 1 to 8.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Tapo app. It already knew the 8 plugs were here.
I have deleted and reinstalled one in Google Home, didn't fix it, so didn't bother doing the other 7.
How do I completely remove everything, with a view to starting all over again. This is really doing my head in.
PS anyone living in Bristol, UK please please pop in a fix it!
