If you have a regular routine, consider using sensor's notificaiton schedule feature. Go to Device Settings page > Notifications > under Show Me Notifications, you can configure when to receive sensor notifications.

To achieve flexible control of the sensor's detection notifications, you might consider sending notifications through automation instead of using the sensor's built-in notification feature.

1. Disable sensor's notification feature in its device settings page.

2. Create an automation: When motion sensor movement is detected, Then send me a notification [xxx].

3. Create two shortcuts to disable or enable the automation.

The shortcut can be displayed on the top area in the Tapo app homepage, or you can add a shortcut widget to your phone's home screen.
