Hi, openvpn server is not working on my nx210?

 

Openvpn client is trying to connect to openvpn server and just get wait for reply from server and no connection is made?

 

DDNS and time server ntp is configured fine. DDNS logged in and local time is correct.

 

I also have access control and IP & MAC binding enabled, does this conflict with openvpn server/ openvpn connect clients?

 

Does openvpn server need a SSL Certificate? Any extra config I need to do?

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

It is suggested to check the IPV4 address on the Archer NX210 to see whether it is the same as the IP on https://whatismyipaddress.com/.

If they are different, it is very likely that the SIM ISP uses CG-NAT service, and there is one more firewall outside of Archer NX210.

So if you want to connect to the OpenVPN server, you might need to ask for a public APN profile first.
