Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I am experiencing a critical issue with my TP-Link Archer AX55 router.

After performing multiple factory resets, the router no longer boots properly. When powered on, only the Power LED lights up, then turns off after a few seconds, and this process repeats in an endless loop. No other LEDs turn on, and the router is completely inaccessible.

I am not sure whether this issue is caused by:

  • too many reset attempts,

  • a corrupted firmware,

  • or a hardware failure.

At this point, the router is completely unusable, and I do not know what else to do.
I am therefore requesting your assistance to diagnose the problem and, if possible, recover or repair the router.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Hello @Andry_Starlink ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

It seems that your router is bricked, please try the suggestions below:

1. Use the original power adapter: Ensure you are using the power adapter that came with your router, as third-party adapters may not provide stable power.
2. Try a hard reset: With the router powered on, press and hold the reset button (usually a small pinhole on the back of the device) for 5-10 seconds. Release it when you see all the LEDs light up momentarily, then allow the router to reboot.
3. If the suggestions don't help: This behavior may indicate a hardware failure or corrupted firmware. Please contact TP-Link technical support for further assistance to determine if the router can be repaired or needs replacement.
