Hello,

Our ISP (Free in France) provides IPv6  but they only talk about their own routers, not others.

I upgraded ISP info (last version November 2025) but when I go to IPv6 tunnel, it still says there's no available interface for WAN connection.

Is there something else I miss?

Thank you in advance for your answers! :)

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Is your issue like the following post:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/858086

Internet service no longer works when IPV6 PDP type is enabled?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Hello David and thank you for your answer. Yes, I confirm I also tried to set only IPv6 PDP type and when trying to detect network, the router didn't find any so I am disconnected. Switching back to IPv4 & IPv6 works and supposedly that's why I cannot access websites that only work with IPv6. This is the reason I tried the tunnel. As far as I understand, I normally shouldn't have to use such a tunnel, right? Do you have any clue where this problem could come from? Thank you again!

Hi, thanks for the update. I realize the hardware version for your MR6400 is actually V5.3.

And a new firmware TL-MR6400(EU)_V5.30_1.9.0 Build 260108 here has added 464XLAT. It is recommended to update to this version to see whether it helps.

Best regards.
