my powerline has failed, what can I do to reset the adaptor. I have a red LED on. and I am cuurently on wifi.

Hi,

 

According to the user manual a "Red" Powerline LED means "The powerline adapter is in a location with a poor signal strength. We recommend trying another wall socket."
 

So I suggest you unplug one of the TL-PA8010P and plug it onto a wall socket that is much closer to the wall socket where the second TL-PA8010P is plugged in and then check if the Powerline LED turns green. In case it does, then this would mean that conditions have deteriorated inside the electrical circuit of your home.

  @tmd273 Luckily. I had a 1 port and 3port spare, but it still doesn't work properly. I will run my mains tester but this is all on the same ring.
