Model: Tapo D130
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I can't seem to get the ring call to work to notify me in my Google Pixel 9 Pro with android 16.

I've got the most up to date firmware installed on the doorbell , on the Tapo app, and on my mobile phone.

I've granted all the permissions required to the Tapo app and specifically to the doorbell.

I successfully receive all other notifications from it, like person or motion or car notifications. It's just the ring itself that doesn't work for neither pop-up notification or ring call.

I've tried multiple searches and suggestions I foun online while reaching but nothing worked.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Many thanks

As there have been no further updates on this case so far, other users who come across this thread and are experiencing a similar issue may refer to the suggestions in this article for troubleshooting. What should I do if Tapo/Kasa notifications are delayed or not working?

  @Ramster

Could you check whether you receive the doorbell press notification in the app’s notification center? You can find it on the app homepage > the envelope icon on the top-right corner.

Also, does the doorbell start ringing when you press the button? *First, make sure the doorbell ring feature is enabled: go to Device Settings > Doorbell > Doorbell Ring.

  @Wayne-TP

 Thanks for your answer.

In the top right corner I have a bell symbol instead of an envelope, but assuming it's the same thing as it does take me to the notifications. I don't have any ring notification on there either.

The doorbell does ring successfully and it does so in the linked hubs as well. The door bell ring feature is enabled.

Thanks
