Model: Tapo C210   Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have three cameras on my vacation home with subscription for cloud storage.

As of yesterday, the cloud videos for the last 2 weeks were suddenly unavailable on two of the cameras.

Today, I got a motion alert for one of those (normal, probably a passing car, I usually get several a day) and when I opened the app, nothing would load.

It now says all cameras are offline.

Now all cloud videos are unavailable for the two cameras that were missing some yesterday. I still have cloud access for the one that was not having problems before this, but live feed from it isn't working.

Is anyone else having similar problems? I don't want to bother the neighbours to go checking on the cameras if I don't need to.

Which Tapo Care did you subscribe to?

Your case involves two separate problems that can happen independently:

1. Camera offline: This can happen if your home network is down, so the camera cannot be controlled remotely anymore. This would also stop new event videos from uploading to the cloud.

2. Cloud video issue: If a specific cloud video is not viewable (but the camera is/was online), the most likely reason is that the video has expired. For example, with the Basic plan, cloud recordings are typically kept for 7 days. Videos older than that are automatically removed and cannot be viewed. Please check if you're in this case.

Clarification: As long as the cloud video itself has not expired, you should still be able to view it in the app, even if the camera that recorded it is currently offline or inaccessible.

If your internet has no problem and the cloud videos are still valid, you may try to restart your router, see if that helps.
