Model: Tapo T100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.13.0 Build 250226 Rel. 140824

Please add to the T100 firmware the ability to stop sending notifications based on selectable time frame. It doesn't make sense that it keeps sending notifications during the day when, for instance, we install it to work only during the night. Thank you.

The sensor's notification feature allows you to set a schedule, so you can choose exactly when notifications should be delivered.

If the notifications are triggered through an automation, you can also define the automation's effective time, ensuring that notifications are only sent during the times you specify.

On the T100, device "Notifications" can be set to OFF or ON. I had previously chosen OFF, thinking that no notifications whatsoever would be sent to the app, but it's not so. Only by selecting ON one can specify the appropriate time frame for receiving notifications. In my opinion, this setting is a bit confusing.

Perhaps I misunderstood how the T100 works. Notifications is one thing, and Detections is another one. I'm using two T100s to light the stairs at night, but I don't want them to keep sending “person detected” signals to the app during the day. What's the point of receiving dozens and dozens of signals when I don't need to know how often people use those stairs during the day? Is it technically possible to add a setting that tells the T100 not to operate during hours when it’s not needed?
