Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

We installed following system for our client.

  • 1 EAP610 (internal use)
  • 2 EAP610-Outdoor
  • 5 VIGI C340-W (outdoor use)
  • 1 VIGI NVR1008H-8MP

When we added a C340-W from 4 to 5, NVR1008H could not adopt new one.

The new camera was shown on list but when we tried to adopt, NVR1008H said the camera not found.

We reset NVR1008H and tried to adopt all of cameras, then none of them couldn't be adopted.

Finally we changed camera resolutions to lower, NVR1008H could adopt them.

We are wondering high resolution cause Wi-Fi connection unstable or camera unstable ?

Hi  @Clive_A

Thanks for your reply.

Make sense. It was because of the NVR capacity.

At first, 4 of 2560x1440.  It was OK but when we add new one at same rate, It exceeded the NVR capacity.

We changed camera resolutions to 2048x1280 and now the NVR could handle them.

We hope there will be some 'Over capacity' alert from NVR.
