Configuration Guide How to Set Up Site-to-Site OpenVPN
Background:
This post provides a configuration guide to set up Site-to-Site OpenVPN.
This Article Applies to:
All routers with OpenVPN function.
Application Scenario:
Configuration Steps:
Site A:
1. Copy the WAN IP address for the later setup in the B site. For your real environment, your IP address is supposed to be public.
2. Go to VPN > OpenVPN > OpenVPN server. Set up your Site A server. Pay attention to the LAN IP address of Site A.
Site B:
1. Copy the WAN IP address for the later setup in the A site. For your real environment, your IP address is supposed to be public.
2. Go to VPN > OpenVPN > OpenVPN server. Set up your Site B server. Pay attention to the LAN IP address of Site B.
Site A Connect:
Go to the OpenVPN Client. Join the Site B.
Site B Connect:
Go to the OpenVPN Client. Join the Site A.
Tunnel Check:
Site A:
Site B:
Verification:
A to B:
B to A:
Note:
1. Your WAN IP is required to be public. If you have trouble with this, please contact your ISP.
2. The configuration scheme is the same for the controller. Will not repeat the steps in the controller mode.
