Check what your isp allows, it could be them kicking you off and then the router reconnects until the isp kicks you off again, start with the simple stuff and move up as and when required, the cheap cable or even a fuulty cable suggested above is also another 100% check me first solution.

@olympic260 I am experiencing the same problem with my VR300.  We can work fine on wireless, but I have connected an access point via cable and it connecting and dropping the connection every few seconds.

Have the following entries on the system log.

1 2020-03-22 16:59:41 SYSTEM Notice LAN1 link down
2 2020-03-22 16:59:22 DHCPD Notice Send ACK to 192.168.1.101
3 2020-03-22 16:59:22 DHCPD Notice Send OFFER with ip 192.168.1.101
4 2020-03-22 16:59:22 DHCPD Information Recv DISCOVER from D8:0D:17:A6:90:EA
5 2020-03-22 16:59:21 SYSTEM Notice LAN1 link up 10 mbps
6 2020-03-22 16:59:07 SYSTEM Notice LAN1 link down
7 2020-03-22 16:59:01 SYSTEM Notice LAN1 link up 10 mbps
8 2020-03-22 16:58:47 SYSTEM Notice

LAN1 link down

I see from an earlier post you had a similar problem.  Were you able to solve the problem?  If so, would you mind sharing how you got it resolved?

Thanks

Same issue here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/201000 - seems this is a common issue on VR600

@olympic260

I have same issue, and contacting support two firmware updates were made to router. The issue is well known.

Unfortunately I don't remember the updates, but final version I have is:

0.4.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 200701 Beta.71362n

Unfortunately, no.

I posted my issue separately, because I'm not sure it is the same issue...
