Region : Turkey

Model : TD-W8970

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 0.6.0 2.1 v000c.0 Build 130415 Rel.34164n

ISP : TTNet

Hi,

I cannot connect any devices to my TD-8970 at gigabit speeds. I have tried the following immediately after a factory refresh;

[*]Windows 7 Desktop with Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, connection status speed reports 100.0 Mbps
[*]D-Link DNS 320 NAS Drive (latest firmware), Lan Setup, link speed shows 100 Mbps and does not allow selection of 1000 Mbps

What am I missing?

Hi, can your desktop and D-LINK NAS Drive both support 1000Mbps? If they only support 100Mbps, the connection speed will be limited to 100 Mbps.

Hi.
It is quite strange. "Windows 7 Desktop with Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, connection status speed reports 100.0 Mbps" So the speed of Local Area Connection on the PC is 100Mbps?
The windows 7 computer and NAS are both connected directly to TD-W8970 without any switch?
If you have one more gigabit router, you can use it to do a test.

Yes, both devices are connected straight to the w8970 with a 1m cat5e cable (I have tried different cables too). I don't have another gigabit router/switch/hub to test with - only the W8970.

How about the connection speed on other Gigabit computers?

On this Windows 7 computer, you can go to the Properties of Local Area connection->Advanced, and make sure the speed is set to 1.0 Gbps.

Hope this could help you.
