Archer C2300 V1 - QoS problems with 240/20 ISP
Greetings!
I'm using the latest firmware in my C2300 and when I configure QoS (terrible conf management by the way), it simply cuts down in half my ISP connection. The only way to maintain full speed is disabling QoS, when, disabled, I get several latency instabilities (ORLY?).
Please TP-Link, fix this ASAP and improve C2300 firmware with more addons like, uptime viewer, scheduled reboots, advanced QoS management etc.
We all know that you can do better than "this firmware isn't working properly".
I'm also accepting to be a beta tester and feedback to you.

Hi There,
Sorry for the trouble.
We didn't receive this kind of feedback before.
May I know what kind of Qos that you setup, device Qos or Application Qos?
If you setup Application Qos, the desired application will have faster speed, other service will have low priority.
If you setup Device Qos, the device should get high priority for all network behaviors.
And you mentioned if you disable Qos ,the router will give you latency and unstable connection?
May I know how unstable it is and how can you make it work again?
Thanks for your detailed information in advance.

Hello Kevin!
If I want full speed I MUST have to disable QoS (selecting standard option) and not giving priority to any device as well.

It would be awesome if we could have in further firmwares, a fully customizable QoS, like dd-wrt ( https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/files/ddwrt_qos_01_267.jpg ) would be VERY APPRECIATE. Also, uptime status and scheduled reboots would be extremely interesting as well.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Sorry to tell you that there is no new firmware yet.
While we can do some troubleshooting regarding to this issue.
Could you please run a speed test vith the speedtest function on the web interface of the C2300.
Note: Please test it with/without QoS enabled, and please show us the screenshots.
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

QoS bug, inter alia, is well known for several models. Sadly, there seems to be no intention for new `bug free` firmware.
