Model: Archer VR400  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 170719 Rel.63031n

i am currently using the vr400 for my broadband. but due to getting sky q i want to use the sky q hub as my router but want to know how to still use my vr400 for wifi as well .

i think i need to conect the sjy q router to my vr400 with a network cable and set the vr400 as an access point but dont have a clue how to do it? 

any help would be great .

@Kevin_Z  VR400 support option 1 of this move or we have to switch to AP manually as in option 2?

For me it is important because in opt2 I can`t use LAN4/WAN port so my VR400 have only 3xLAN port (if I understand correctly).

 

Or maybe the is an option to change LAN4/WAN to only LAN4 and use it even in manuall AP mode?

 

I have VR400 with firmware 0.6.0.0.9.1 v0070. Build 200713 Beta.3458n

Hi, if you want to take full advantage of the Ethernet ports, you may choose Option 1, then connect the main modem's LAN port to the WAN port of the VR400, you will then have all the 4 LAN ports for connecting the local devices.
