Reconnect the deco app to an existing deco network
Hi,
A quick question, how do I re-connect the deco app to an existing network without going through the whole setup again?
*background, new iPhone hence, new installed deco app.
The app keeps asking me to see if my deco LED is blue but after restarting the deco, it always goes back to green (as the network is already running). I do not want to re-do the whole mesh setup again.
Can't the deco app detect I'm on an existing wifi network and try to reconnect to the router?!
Thanks!

Could you please send me a private message about the MAC address of the main Deco and the TP-Link email ID for your Deco APP?
Did your main Deco LED stay solid green/white?
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Hi, I have the same problem. Installed 3 units via the deco app, gave the network a name. Tried to add 3 additional units.. failed. Had to delete the network from Deco, and reinstalled the app, now I can't find the network in my Deco app, because it wants to do the whole set up. How can I find my existing network and reconnect to it, and add 3 more units? Please advise. Thanks!

I have come across this issue too.
Do these Deco M5 Units have just a simple WebGUI to access them. ?
I have been asked to fix and Sonos Speaker system at an elderly couple home. It used to work fine before th Deco mesh net was installed.
I need to connect to the existing Deco setup to access it to change it to Access Point mode.
But as per the first post of this thread, the newly installed app on the phone wont connect to a new system. I have used their e-mail address and password on my phone to log in and it seemed to work but is asking me to get the blue flashing light.
I just want to connect to the existing system to change it to AP mode
Is this possible?

Hi, on the latest App version, You might need to connect to the Deco Wi-Fi first in order to change the operating mode.
So I am afraid logging into the same email ID is not enough.
But the current issue you had is not related.
And can you send me a private message of the MAC address on the main Deco M5 so that I can check whether you have the correct TP-Link ID?
Thank you very much.

Hi, I did not get any message under my profile or TP-Link profile, and could you please send me the message again?
And I also provided my email address if needed in the private message.
Thank you.
