Help!! I can't configure the VR2800V for the cordless phone
I bought an Ancher vr2800V from an Ebay store in Germany so as to replace it in the old AncherVR2800 because I changed the system at home, I switched from ADSL to VDSL and I have a cordless phone.
I got the router, I changed the language from the home screen, I updated the firmware with the latest Italian version as indicated by the guide.
Now I have 2 problems:
the first problem is that they appear on the background of any modem screen of the type (test only).
The second most important when I go to set the parameters of the phone (Provider TELECOM ITALIA - TIM) as it says from specification always on the site the screen is not the same, that is all the items of "Internet Configuration and Telephony with TIM in FR technology (VDSL, FTTC or FTTS) "they do not appear to me, I have connected the cordless but I can only hear a fixed tone, I can dial the telephone number but then the busy signal returns.
I kindly ask you for help because I spent some money and I can't get the modem / router to work properly.
I'm italian.
Thanks to everyone in advance
Paul

I managed to make the phone work, but the tone is now continuous that deco parameters change so that it becomes alternated as before?
Thank you

Hi,
First, test only means that the current firmware is non-official one. May I know where did you download the firmware and install it? If possible, please show us a download link.
Meanwhile, for the Telephony function, please show us a screenshot of the settings page so that we can do further analysis.
Good day.

Hi,
Glad to hear that the phone works. While what do you mean by the signal is continuous TUUUUUUUUUUUUUU and not alternating TU---TU---TU---TU?
Does the signal means the wireless signal or it is related to the phone?
Please provide us more detailed information; More details will be better;
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hello and thank you for your kind reply.
The phones here in Italy before dialing a number emit a signal that is (Tu-Tuuu ..... Tu-Tuuu ..... Tu-Tuuu ..... Tu-Tuuu .....).
Since I installed the signal in the modem before dialing the telephone number you hear from the voip phone it has changed to (Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu).
Is it possible to restore it as above? (Tu-tuuu..... Tu-tuuu..... Tu-tuuu..... Tu-tuuu.....).
Thank you very much
Paul

Hi,
I'm afraid that there is no way to restore the signal.
While cause it does not affect the performance of the VOIP function, you may let it go.
Have a nice day.
