Model: AC500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: dont know.

Question title says it all (couldn't find AC750 in model list). I've plugged the external internet into the WAN port and given the IP address etc I've been given, but no joy - can the Archer D2 function as a router via the WAN port?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, you can connect an external internet to the LAN4/WAN port of Archer D2, while to make it work, you need change the operation mode from DSL modem router mode to wireless router mode at first.

Below is the instruction: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/543/

And then you can setup a static IP for it to make it work.

May it help and have a nice day.
