Firmware downgrade from 1.2.8 to 1.2.4
Hey ya'll,
I am having many issues after latest FW upgrade (1.2.8) that I related in this post
tl;dr: Some of my devices unable to connect to the network: "No internet connection", some of them are required to re-enter password but it won't work.
Rebooting the main deco will solve it for the next few hours, but all of these issues came like a few days ago.
I want to downgrade the firmware version of both my decos to 1.2.4 as I had when I bought it.
TP-Link is offering the FW version to download but I couldn't find instructions on how to manually install older FW..

If possible, disable the router function in your 2-in-1 fiber modem. Let Deco to handle the router function. This way, you can enjoy the anit-virus & parental control functions.
In Access Point mode, Deco loss these value-added functions!

So I connected to the Deco Wi-Fi and ran the commands you said and I did see a few networks as the instructions say "192.168.68.X etc.." Well, you have Double NAT in your network. In simple term, there are 2 servers handling the routing function. They don't work well together!

Another possible issue is Firewall is On in your Mac. Turn it off to try the upgrade program again.

Can somebody provide the download link for 1.2.4 ? (for hardware version V1 and for V2)
